In the closing moments, Füllkrug’s acrobatic volley was denied by the resolute Dahmen, who made an outstanding save to secure a precious point for Augsburg.
With this draw, Dortmund remains in fifth place and could find themselves 13 points behind the league leaders by the end of the round. On the other hand, Augsburg will end the day in 10th spot.
